VTB says 2021 IFRS net profit quadruples to 327 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Feb 22 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russia's second biggest lender VTB quadrupled to 327.4 billion rubles in 2021, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the bank said in a report on Tuesday.   

Spending on reserves halved to 116 billion rubles.

Corporate loans grew by 6.7%, to 9.93 trillion rubles on December 31, 2021, retail loans increased by 23.5% to 4.76 trillion rubles.
